All New Roots Youth Garden Clubs are absolutely free to all children!

Special Event - Blessing of the Worms


Come join us at our annual garden kickoff event!

We'll have crafts, activities, plants to sell, face painting 

and healthy snacks - fun for everyone!


Held in April of each year - stay tuned for the 2017 date!

2016 SUMMER GARDEN CLUB

 Meets at 5 - 6:30 PM on Thursdays 

June 23 - August 11

 

The New Roots Summer Garden Club is the longest session of the year. As always, time will be spent in the garden, planting, tending, and harvesting vegetables from the garden.

 

Also, the children will have an opportunity to create and run a farm stand, where they will learn more about the economics of gardening!

2016 SPRING & FALL GARDEN CLUBS

 

Meets at 6:30 PM on Thursdays 


Spring Garden Club:  May 5 - June 2, 2016

Fall Garden Club:  September 22 - October 27, 2016


In the Spring and Fall, we also have 6 week programs that meet after school, designed to get children moving& learning!


The Spring and Fall Programs are open to children ages 3 - 12 (Parents of children 5 and under are required to stay and join in on the fun!)

 

                              We feature a "Triple Play"

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Get fit - activities to get them moving                                                                                                                                                                      Get dirty - planting & other garden work

                                                                                                                             Get creative - educational craft & experiential learning time

 

                                                                                                                                         And of course, we offer a healthy snack!
